I wish even more that the black community worldwide wouldn’t let stereotypes and lies we have been told or shit we just made up (that asshole in Uganda who grossly (every connotation of that word) caricatured and pantomimed LGBTQQIA+ ‘behavior’ like he knew what he was even talking about.

Why the hell do we do this to each other? You would think we’d want to shed all that brainwashing, but - no, we continually perpetuate it within our own culture.

That was possibly the most upsetting episode of #current_’s Vanguard series that I couldn’t finish because I was so devastated by the dehumanizing behavior on display.
